Dragon Kefta
We eat kefta all summer. It’s easy to make, always tastes better the second day and goes with everything. This is a great dish to serve at potlucks or share with friends at a cookout.
Ingredients
- 1 lb of ground turkey
- 1/4 cup of oat bran
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, minced
- 1/4 cup of cilantro, minced
- 1/2 medium onion, grated
- 2 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of pepper
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Shape however you like (meatballs, cylinders, patties…).
- Grill at 400° F for about seven minutes. Turn over and grill for seven minutes more, or until cooked through.
- Serve with tzatziki, hummus, or your favorite dip*, along side warm pita, and grilled veggies.
Notes
Mix 1/4 cup of mayo with 1 tsp of lemon juice and a grated clove of garlic. You can also add curry powder.
