Oat Bran Pancakes

A classic dragon breakfast treat that is easy to make, easy to customize, and easy to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oat bran
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil or melted butter
  • 1 cup of milk (any kind)

Preparation

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the wet ingredients and whisk in loosely.
  2. Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium-low heat.
  3. Drop a tbsp of batter onto the pan. Flip when edges start to curl away and bubbles appear on the surface. Cook for a minute more, remove from pan, and set aside.
  4. Serve warm. Top with maple syrup and butter, our inhouse fave Fruit Explosion, whipped cream and fresh fruit, peanut butter, whatever you like…
