Oat Bran Pancakes
A classic dragon breakfast treat that is easy to make, easy to customize, and easy to eat!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil or melted butter
- 1 cup of milk (any kind)
Preparation
- Whisk the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the wet ingredients and whisk in loosely.
- Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium-low heat.
- Drop a tbsp of batter onto the pan. Flip when edges start to curl away and bubbles appear on the surface. Cook for a minute more, remove from pan, and set aside.
- Serve warm. Top with maple syrup and butter, our inhouse fave Fruit Explosion, whipped cream and fresh fruit, peanut butter, whatever you like…
