Umami Salad Dressing

This recipe is more of an all-purpose sauce that you can put on many things. It’s light enough for a salad and flavored enough to use as a marinade for meat or just tossed into a stirfry. Keeps for ages in the fridge – it’s a pantry staple in our dragon house.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of grated onion and juice
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp of canola oil
  • 6 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 6 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp of black pepper

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a mason jar. Screw on the lid and shake it up. Keeps in the fridge for quite some time.
