Pan Con Tomate

Ingredients

  • 2-3 ripe red tomatoes, cut in half
  • cloves of garlic, peeled
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Ciabatta or any rustic-style bread with a crunchy crust.

Preparation

  1. Cut the bread into 1/2″ slices and toast them until moderately crunchy.
  2. Slice the peeled garlic in half and rub the halves on one side of each toast slice. Pressing gently, rub the tomato halves over the garlic’ed side of the toast.
  3. Sprinkle the toast with salt and drizzle with olive oil. And enjoy!
