Let’s Play

It’s occurring to me that maybe, just maybe, I might just really like to paint stylized landscapes with cute dragons in them. At least, that’s the kick I’m on at the moment.

With this piece, I started with color blocking and then added details in places. This is the first piece that I’ve done where I haven’t outlined the dragons. I don’t think I’ll move away from outlining completely but I’m trying to think more about shape, color and modeling and atmospheric perspective.
