– The Small World series of games, especially Underground and the Necromancer’s Island expansion

Movies

My favorite movie of all-time might be The Iron Giant or maybe Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox? I do love animated films, especially if they’re not typical 3D movies.

– Miller & Lord’s Spiderverse movies – can’t wait for the 3rd one!
– Tarsem Singh’s The Fall and The Cell.
– Loads of Coen Brothers films (Burn After Reading, Fargo, No Country for Old Men, Raising Arizona, The Hudsucker Proxy, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, True Grit, Hail Caesar!)
– Tarantino’s Jackie Brown and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
– Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs, Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tenenbaums, Asteroid City
– Robot Dreams
– Wall-E, of course

– Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive, Ghost Dog,
– Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films
– The Black Stallion – a masterclass on how to tell a story with perfect camera work and minimal dialogue
– Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves – if you haven’t seen it, you should. The only thing this movie lacks is a sequel.
– The Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy – there’s a moment in Vol 3 that will hit your heart so hard, you will remember what it is like to really love something
– Whip It – a coming of age story plus roller derby and an amazing soundtrack
– The Triplets of Belleville

– The Umbrella Academy seasons 1-4 complete playlist
– Yasunori Mitsuda’s brilliant soundtracks for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears and more.
– Yoko Kanno – composer of Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Vision of Escaflowne, Arjuna and more…
– Whip It soundtrack
– Woodkid
– Scores from Into the Spiderverse, Guardians of the Galaxy and pretty much any Tarantino film
– Keith Mansfield
